C01 KOMOREBI

WONGKRATON seamlessly intertwines denim heritage and authentic craftsmanship, paying tribute to pre-War traditions. Our commitment to timeless tradition is exemplified by sourcing fabrics from Fukuyama Prefecture, a hub of denim production. Skilled artisans employ old-fashioned looms and traditional techniques, infusing jeans with a classical aura reminiscent of the American Wild West, embodying vintage authenticity. WONGKRATON distinguishes itself by crafting jeans that narrate timeless style, seamlessly blending authenticity, quality, and a defining artistry. The 15oz selvedge denim, naturally roped dyed in green cast indigo, adds a layer of commitment, offering comfort and a unique texture rooted in Edo period indigo-dyed traditions.

The distinctive green cast indigo denim is a canvas that evolves with time, promising a beautiful transformation. Initially indigo and rigid, it gradually fades, revealing a spectrum of hues, creating a unique character with every wear. Over time, the denim develops distinct vertical lines and shades in areas like knees and thighs, telling a visual story of the wearer's journey. This personalized fading process, occurring over 5 to 10 years, adds a vintage charm to the jeans, making them a reflection of the wearer's lifestyle and experiences. The green cast indigo denim becomes a dynamic, living fabric that matures alongside its wearer, ensuring a truly individual and enduring style. The nuanced artistry of the fading process enhances the overall allure of WONGKRATON's C01 KOMOREBI jeans.

To make C01 KOMOREBI jeans durable, we use different threads for various parts. We use strong led-brown polyester yarn for areas like buttocks, inner thighs, and belt loops, where the fabric undergoes more stress. In contrast, for stitching details like pockets and button flies, we use faded-denim-colored cotton yarn, specifically yellow, to seamlessly blend in. This tailored approach enhances the overall expression and detailing of our jeans.

The belt loop edges are reinforced with piping to maintain fabric strength and prevent fraying. Stamped rivets, crushed heads, and copper-sprayed donut buttons symbolize our jeans, evolving with a unique dullness over time. Leather patches on buttons and rivets reduce fabric stress, and the wide belt loop's three-dimensional design enhances color fading. Hand-finished with an original curved, asymmetric design, the inner surface is reinforced with pocket cloth for durability.

Caring for C01 KOMOREBI sanforised green cast denim jeans

PREPARATION -
Turn the garment inside-out to protect the outer surface during washing.

WASHING -
Choose a short cycle on your washing machine (max 40°C/100°F) to minimize stress on the fabric. Alternatively, hand wash the denim for a more delicate approach.

DRYING -
Avoid tumble drying, as this may cause shrinkage and affect the fabric's appearance. Opt for drip drying or laying the garment flat to preserve the quality of the denim.

By following these steps, you'll ensure the longevity and integrity of your WONGKRATON sanforized and one-washed denim, maintaining its unique character and appearance.
